2016 Summer Olympics

The Summer Olympics of 2016, also known as the Games of the XXXI Olympiad, officially and also known as Rio 2016, commonly. It was an international major multi-sport event that took place in 2016 winter. It was hosted in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, which hosted the Games from 5 to 21 August 2016. With more than 11,000 athletes almost from 205 National Olympic Committees, took part of the Olympic Games, including Kosovo, South Sudan, and the Refugee Olympic Team, which made their first-time entrants. The games featured 28 Olympic sports, with 306 sets of medals, including golf and rugby sevens, which were annexed to the Olympic program in 2009. These sporting events took place at and at São Paulo (five Venues), Belo Horizonte, Salvador, Brasília, and Manaus, totally 33 venues in the host city. The United States made themselves at the top of the table for the fifth time in the past six Summer Olympics. It has won the most Gold medals (46) and also in the overall (121). And Great Britain made it to the second place. And the third place was taken by China. Brazil, the host country won 7 gold medals.
